Meet Beth Keserauskis

Beth is the Vice President of University Relations & Enrollment Management at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. She oversees admissions, marketing, enrollment management, fundraising, alumni relations and intercollegiate athletics.

Last fall, the historic St. Louis institution changed its name to University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis—a significant brand change led by Beth and her team. Rest assured, the University remains independent, and St. Louis College of Pharmacy and the flagship Doctor of Pharmacy program still exist under the new university umbrella. Serving approximately 1,000 students earning undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees in health sciences and pharmacy, the new university name better reflects the strategic direction of the institution. Recently, they added two new masters’ programs in Global Health & Equity and Medicinal Chemistry, and will soon be adding more undergraduate majors for students interested in pursuing health care-related fields.

Beth finds that female leaders are particularly good at recognizing the big picture, connecting the dots, and showing empathy to garner broader perspectives and solve problems. Women tend to have well-honed multi-tasking skills (by necessity) and this serves them well, especially during challenging times, such as the current pandemic.

Beth resides in Illinois and has been a member of Forum since 2011. She loves the opportunity to get to know female leaders across various industries and verticals, and the different areas within the St. Louis metropolitan region. She and her husband do a lot of gardening and canning … from salsa, pasta sauce and pickling to jams. It’s a lost art that they love. That and her passion for playing beach doubles volleyball keep her plenty busy.

Beth’s recommendation:  Think about your food and where it’s coming from. Eat local. Eat what’s in season. Preserve the in-season abundance to enjoy out of season. It’s fun, fulfilling and helps you make healthier choices.
