Meet Tiffany Rawson: Helping People Dream Big
Tiffany Rawson’s career began with a childhood dream that turned into reality. A native Texan, she graduated from the University of Texas determined to design roller coasters and theme parks. That ambition led her to St. Louis, where she joined a firm that created experiences for zoos, museums, water parks, and attractions around the world. “I worked there for almost 20 years and absolutely loved my job and traveled all over the world. It was great up until having kids”
Balancing a thriving career in a male-dominated industry with motherhood proved to be a turning point. She remembers the exact moment her priorities shifted: “I saw my son’s first steps on the Alamo construction site, as a Texan, that’s a really cool story to tell, but I knew that I was really tired of missing out on those moments.” That realization pushed her to step back, redefine success, and create a new path.
Armed with her MBA and two decades of experience in large-scale projects, Tiffany launched Monumental Strides, a company dedicated to helping organizations grow with clarity and purpose. Her work goes beyond place-based development and into the heart of what makes organizations thrive: people, culture, and vision. “Monumental Strides is taking ambiguous ideas that are very fluffy and cloud-like and making it concrete so somebody can build it. That’s what I do now for all these other things that help you achieve your vision of success for your company.”
Her approach is holistic: blending visioning, strategic planning, and systems-building to ensure leaders aren’t just putting out fires but cultivating long-term growth. Tiffany describes her mission with equal parts passion and practicality: “It’s empowering people to be intentional and to be the best they can be. Whether it’s individuals or companies, you can’t let the day-to-day extinguish your dreams. You have to keep looking forward at the bigger picture.”
Outside of her business, Tiffany prioritizes her family and brings her children alongside her in volunteer work to help them understand the importance of service. She also carves out time for herself, whether rollerblading along Grant’s Trail, playing golf, or traveling, all interests that keep her grounded and energized.
For fellow Forum members, Tiffany recommends watching the Savannah Bananas documentary series on Disney+. She was drawn to the founder’s visionary approach: rewriting the rules of baseball to make the game fun and fan-focused again. “He had a very clear picture of what he was trying to create and rewrote the rules…His big inspirations are Walt Disney and Barnum and all of these big dreamers and thinkers. And I love it.”
Tiffany’s story is one of bold pivots, relentless creativity, and the courage to keep dreaming. Whether designing theme parks or building a strategy for organizations, she continues to champion intentional vision and meaningful impact.
